Greg Williams' brand of Bluesy Rock and Pop has been heard on stages from Savannah to St, Croix and from Canada to Los Angeles. Williams has performed at prestigious venues such as Eddie's Attic in Atlanta, The Georgia Music Hall of Fame in Macon, the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and Genghis Cohen, Knitting Factory, Cat Club and Canters Deli in L.A.
Greg has shared the stage with many major talents including John Mayer, Shawn Mullins, Darius Rucker(Hootie and The Blowfish), Kristian Bush(Sugarland), Peter Case, Derek Trucks, Butch Walker, Big Bill Morganfield, Warren Zevon and Great White among others. He has independently released five critically acclaimed recordings of original music and signed a publishing/licencing deal with BMG/Chrysalis Music Publishing. The music is often favorably compared to artists such as Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Matthew Sweet. That is to say that the music of Greg Williams is Americana at its best.
It has found a home in several indie films and T.V. programs internationally including "Siblings", "My Bad Dad", and the Gemini Award winning CTV drama, 'The Eleventh Hour".
Greg Williams songs have been recorded by many other artists including Cafe Concerto, Kiki Wow, Ben Robinson, Paul Rader and Chuck Courtney.
