Mark received his Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina in 1989. He is a founding member, songwriter and the guitar player for multi-platinum Hootie & the Blowfish and has spent the last 30 years recording and touring. He also has three solo albums to his credit.
Since moving to Charleston in 1999, Bryan has produced 7 full-length albums, as well as co-written, and produced countless songs, for other artists. He was also instrumental in founding the student run radio station at the College of Charleston, where he is currently an Adjunct Professor, and Artist in Residence for the Music Industry Concentration in the College’s School of the Arts.
Bryan’s company Chucktown Music Group recently won an Emmy for their live-concert television series called LIVE AT THE CHARLESTON MUSIC HALL. It’s currenty airing in over 50 PBS markets nationally. Bryan created the show, and is its host.
Mark is also the Chairman of the Board for Carolina Studios, a non-profit after school music recording and technology program for kids 8-18.
Young Mister is songwriter Steven Fiore, sometimes accompanied by a band of talented musicians from across the southeast United States. As a songwriter, Fiore has spent many years building a fan base along both coasts, touring with the likes of Jump Little Children and Howie Day, and even regularly performing as a guest vocalist in Jeff Goldblum’s jazz band in Los Angeles.
After spending 8 years as a songwriter for Universal Music Publishing Group, Fiore is now
stretching into new musical territory as Young Mister.
