Matt Eckstine (Accomplices) & Craig Tanner (American Hologram) are planning an evening of storytelling as they dig into their respective catalogs. The entry will be low, the mood will be high. Find yourself here Saturday April 2nd.
Matt Eckstine is a singer/songwriter based in Savannah, Georgia performing solo acoustic shows primarily in the Lowcountry of Coastal Georgia and South Carolina. Matt is an active founding member and songwriter of The Accomplices Band, a regional favorite in the south east United States. Matt's solo acoustic shows weave genres of Folk, Blues, Rock & Roll and Tropical good vibrations.
Audiences can expect acoustic guitar accompanied by vocal and tasteful use of harmonica. Another very unique aspect of Matt's solo show is his abilities in "live looping" to achieve a "one man band" full sound organically, in real time. Using his arsenal of effects pedals to create a sonic texture that makes audiences get up on their feet.
"The best quality in Matt's performance is the genuine energy that he radiates"
Via American Hologram's Bio:
Savannah’s American Hologram is a gutsy and eclectic power house trio comprised of Eric Britt, Britt Scott and Craig Tanner. Although americana goth pop and roots has surfaced as a description, songwriting is what defines their music. Interweaving acoustic guitars, three part harmonies, and interchanging lead singers make American Hologram a standout among Southeastern bands. The band formed after Britt’s album Greener came out in 2012, as Tanner and Scott began accompanying him live. They quickly branched into a band, with everyone bringingideas and songs to the table. Since then the trio has become a prolific songwriting outfit. Natural chemistry as musicians and friends helped the creative process grow quickly.
