Reid has been pleasing all types of audiences for over 25 years. His musical trek has taken him through rock, pop, country, r&b, beach music, and many points in between. His very eclectic song list draws on all of his experience to provide a variety of music to please the most discriminating audience.
Reid's acoustic shows were huge successes and soon he found himself performing every night in bars and clubs in and around Raleigh. His songwriting efforts brought him further recognition finally leading him to Nashville, TN and publishing deals with Millhouse Music and later Sony/Tree Publishing.
The former frontman of NYC's critical darling and up-and-coming band Astronaut, Jeff moved to the lowcountry for a change of pace and scenery. What he brought with him was the ability to captivate sonically & lyrically.
Music was on the back burner when Shane Marstiller landed a job as a firefighter on Hilton Head Island five years ago. But his discovery of a vibrant island scene and a classic guitar sparked a personal revival that found him showcasing his original songs at a release party on May 2 at the Smokehouse. “I played in high school but fell out of it in college,” said Marstiller, a 27-year-old West Virginia native. “When I moved here to join the Fire and Rescue department, I bought a guitar (a white 1990 Gibson Les Paul) from a friend, and it was like finding that classic car that you’ve always wanted, That really started me playing again, and one thing has led to another.”
